For years, Paulina and Nicholas lived just a few steps apart without even knowing it — sharing dozens of mutual friends, frequenting the same streets of Michigan, but never crossing paths.

It wasn’t until Paulina moved back home from West Palm Beach that everything began to come together. When her family purchased the restaurant next door to Nicholas’, it felt at first like another new chapter. Through the day-to-day of life of working in neighboring restaurants, they finally met. There was no dramatic moment, no grand signs — just an easy connection that felt natural and familiar, like two people who had somehow known each other all along. After their very first date, they both left with an unshakable feeling: this was different. This was meant to be.

Not long after, Paulina's family restaurant was sold, but its true purpose had already been fulfilled. It had brought Paulina and Nicholas exactly where they were supposed to be — to each other.
